My name is Alexis Bowles, I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I discovered my passion for dance at the young age of 2 and continued dancing throughout my senior year of high school at We're Dancin in Matthews, I began competitive dancing when I was 5 years old. My favorite style of dance is lyrical because it is the most meaningful and powerful type of dance in my opinion. It allows me to express my feelings through movements. In the past 9  years I have taught competitive teams and soloist at local studios earning top honors and overall placements at regional and national competitions. In my free time I enjoy continuing to educate myself and learning new ways to teach and better myself all around in dance. I am also a huge supporer of technique and ballet. These are the fundamentals of dance and I firmily believe it forms the type of dancer you become. I have always known I have always wanted to own my own dance studio and share my passion for dance with others. I am so excited for this opportunity and can't wait to meet each one of you and share this journey with you all!
